How thick is armor plating?
The thickness of armor plating used by Armormax® starts at 2mm and goes all the way up to 22mm on the armor. While the Armormax® glass thickness ranges from 21mm to 80mm. Armor plating is made of commercial ballistic steel that is high hard.
This plating is a tempered and quenched steel armor that meets the extreme threat level effectively. This steel armor plating is used to manufacture riot shields, safe rooms, bank counters, money haulers, body armor, personal armored vehicles, and guard booths. This armor plating is also used in land mine and blast protection applications.
