See the unique bulletproof Lamborghini Urus from Armormax.
Armormax B7-level build of the Lamborghini Urus represents the highest tier of protection available in a civilian vehicle platform — engineered to defeat high-powered rifle fire, including rounds from military-grade assault weapons.
B7 protection is rated under the European standard EN 1063 (and its equivalents under NIJ, VPAM, and STANAG) to withstand fire from 7.62mm armor-piercing rounds — the class of threat associated with military-grade rifles at combat distances. Achieving this level of protection in the Urus required a comprehensive structural approach, integrating ballistic steel, composite ceramic layering, and multi-laminate transparent armor throughout the cabin.
- Ballistic steel door panels (B7 rated)
- Multi-laminate glass, 60–70mm
- Reinforced A, B, C pillars
- Ballistic floor plating
- Roof armor panel integration
- Firewall ballistic barrier
- Run-flat tire system
- Emergency lighting package
- Intercom & PA system
- Self-sealing fuel tank
The transparent armor — comprising multiple layers of glass, polycarbonate, and PVB interlayers — is custom-fabricated to match the original window profiles of the Urus, preserving the vehicle’s aesthetics while delivering opaque-grade ballistic resistance. All glass is optically clear and distortion-free, with no visible indicator to a casual observer that the vehicle is protected.
Despite the added armor mass — typically 500–700 kg for a full B7 conversion — our engineers recalibrate the Urus’s air suspension, reprogram the drivetrain management system, and upgrade the braking package to restore the vehicle’s dynamic performance as closely as possible to factory specification. The result is an armored Urus that accelerates, handles, and stops with the authority the model is known for.
